# Hyprcore

> A native voice and knowledge workspace for macOS and Windows. Dictation that types where your cursor is — or, with Action Mode, runs a spoken instruction as a command over your selected text instead of typing it out. Plus meeting recording with a live rolling summary, solo screen or audio recordings that become notes, and a browser-side capture panel that saves web pages and YouTube videos. Everything lands in one local-first vault an AI agent can search, read, and write in — and routines can work over that vault on a schedule, while you are away from the machine.

Hyprcore runs natively on macOS and Windows, with GPU-accelerated transcription on both — Apple silicon on the Mac, Vulkan on Windows. Notes, meetings, recordings, and captures all live in the same vault. Dictation can run fully on-device; meetings sync to end-to-end encrypted cloud storage so teams can share them. Every page is stored on disk as portable markdown.

Routines are Hyprcore's automation layer, added in v1.10: a trigger (a schedule, a set number of minutes before a calendar event, a recording starting, a meeting ending, or a manual run), an instruction written in plain English, and an explicit list of what the routine may reach. A routine can read connected Gmail, Outlook mail, Notion, and web search accounts, or post a signed, retried webhook to n8n, Zapier, Make, or a custom endpoint. Two independent settings govern each one — one for machine access, one for whether it may change anything — and new routines start manual, sandboxed, and read-only. Every routine is a plain markdown file in the user's own vault.
