Does a bot join the meeting?
No. Hyprcore records system audio and your microphone from your own Mac, so nothing joins the call and nothing appears in the participant list. It works on platforms that block recording bots outright, and in a room with no call at all.
Do I have to tell people I am recording?
That depends on where you and they are, and it is your call to make — consent laws differ by country and by state. Hyprcore does not announce itself, so if your jurisdiction or your company requires notice, say so at the top of the call.
Does meeting transcription work offline?
Yes. Transcription runs fully offline on the local engines. AI summaries, action items and shareable links are Pro features and need an internet connection.
Can it tell speakers apart?
Yes — speaker diarization separates who said what, with neural acoustic echo cancellation underneath so the far end and your own microphone do not bleed into each other. You can confirm or rename speakers afterwards.
Will it get our product names right?
Teach it once. Custom vocabulary is a single shared list across dictation and meetings, so the names, acronyms and jargon it kept mangling come out right in both.
