Wiki questions.
Is my wiki actually just files?
Yes — a vault of plain markdown on your own disk, in folders you can see in Finder. Hyprcore is a good way to write and search it, not a condition of reading it.
How is this different from Notion or Obsidian?
Notion is a database-first wiki with no recording or dictation; Obsidian is a plain-file wiki with neither. Hyprcore is the same idea of one tree of pages, except your calls, your walkthroughs and everything you dictate land in it automatically instead of being pasted in later.
What does the search actually search?
Everything in the vault — pages you wrote, meeting transcripts, recording write-ups and saved web pages. ⌘K jumps by name; asking a question searches semantically across the content and cites the sources it used.
Can Claude or Cursor read it?
Yes. Hyprcore exposes your knowledge over Model Context Protocol, so any MCP-compatible client can query it directly — no export, no copy-paste. MCP is a Pro feature.
