Fast capture, and an honest word about where it ends up
Apple Notes wins on one thing before anything else: it is already installed, already signed in, and one Quick Note shortcut away. Dictation shortens that further, because the note you speak is the note you would have written if you had felt like typing it. The version that gets typed under time pressure is usually four words and a hope that future you remembers the rest.
Where it ends up is worth being straight about. Notes keeps your text in an iCloud database rather than as files on disk, which is fine for a shopping list and less fine for reference material you expect to still read in ten years. You cannot grep it, diff it, or open it in a different editor.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an extension or plug-in for Apple Notes?
No. Hyprcore writes into whatever field is focused, so the note body, the first line that becomes the title, the search box, and a folder you happen to be renaming all behave the same. Notes has no extension model, and none is needed here.
Can I use this to dictate notes on my iPhone?
No. Hyprcore only runs on macOS; there is no iPhone or iPad build. Notes you speak on the Mac sync through iCloud and turn up on the phone as usual, but the talking has to happen at the Mac, and on the phone you fall back to whatever Apple provides there.
Will it spell names and product terms the way I write them?
If you teach it. Custom vocabulary takes names, acronyms, and jargon, and the same bias applies whichever transcription path you are running. That is the difference between a note that reads back cleanly and a note you have to sit and decode.
Can it tidy a rambling note without me retyping it?
Highlight the note, trigger Action Mode, and ask it for "bullet points out of this" or "half the length." The highlighted text is replaced by the result. What comes back is plain text, so real Notes checkboxes are still something you apply with the list style.
